A little background on me and the blog. I’m Ellie, I’m studying German and Linguistics at the University of York and will be finishing uni forever in June!

If there’s anything you should know about me it’s that I love New York City and hope to live there some day. In the meantime I am completely ok with living in the second best city in the world: London.

I started this blog to simply post about the things that I love in life. I love trying new things, seeking out new bars and restaurants, new attractions, exhibitions and pop-ups around London. Something else you should know... I am a real foodie and I cannot get enough of cake and chocolate. I LOVE food. Eating, making, baking, watching food-related programmes. If there's food in it, I'm on it. I also have a small addiction to shoesclothesmakeup, so there will be a couple of girly posts along the way.

I'm about to head into the real world, life after uni is beginning, and lately I've started to take more risks in life. This blog is one of them. A small step sure, but I am putting myself out there and you are all able to criticise me if you wish and that is a really scary thought.

I've learnt that putting yourself out there and taking risks is essential to success. So here I am, daring to feel and daring to fail. I can't wait to see where I end up.
